SCHEDULE A TRIP
THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR SCHEDULING PAGE. LET’S GO FISHING – FAIRMONT CHAPTER WILL BEGIN TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE 2017 SEASON at a later date to be determined soon. OUR SEASON WILL RUN FROM JUNE 5TH THRU AUGUST 30TH!
We are excited about the new scheduling system. Some of the new features are:
When you schedule a trip that is open, you will immediately be confirmed for that trip.
As in past years, our minimum for a Fishing trip will be 4 people with a maximum of 6 (maximum of 2 wheelchairs)
As in past years, our minimum for Cruise trip will be 6 people with a maximum of 8 (maximum of 2 wheelchairs)
You will be able to see and book for partial trips – if one group books for 4 people, you would be able to book the remaining spots.
You will be able to view/print all of the trip information including your Captain and First Mate’s contact information.
You will be able to view/print all of the trips that you have reserved for the year.
You will receive an automatic email reminder 72 hours prior to each trip.

June 5 – August 30
All trips are 2 hours long
Trips: Mon. thru Wed.: Fishing 9:30 am & 11:30 am

From the North/West/East. Drive South on State Street to Albion Ave. Turn Right on W. Lair Rd. Gomsrud Park will be on your right. From the South. Driving North on Highway 15 turn, Left on Hall Street then turn Right on Albion Ave. drive north to W. Lair Rd. turn Left on W. Lair Rd. Gomsrud Park will be on your right. The Let’s Go Fishing dock is on the North side of the park.
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your Scheduled Time READY to load. Life Jackets, Bait, Tackle, Water, a Trained Captain, a Trained 1st Mate and a Trained Dock Assistant are provided for every trip.
CANCELLATION IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER:
A LGF representative will call you within 12 hours of your Scheduled Time to confirm outing details. In the event of bad weather, the Client and the Captain will decide if the trip will be cancelled. If for any other reason you are cancelling a trip, you must notify the Scheduler at 507-848-5069.
REQUIRED FOR TRIP:
1. Download and bring a completed BOARDING PASS RELEASE OF LIABILITY & PHOTO APPROVAL form and
2. Download and bring a completed FOR RESIDENTS OF STATE INSTITUTIONS TO FISH IN MINNESOTA form which serves as the fishing license (or a valid MN Fishing License if they do not qualify for the Residents of State Institutions form)
Please bring both forms #1 & #2 for you trip and deliver it to the Captain before the passengers start boarding the pontoon. Please be sure to bring this so that your trip is not delayed.
If you indicate that you will have people fishing, they must have a Fishing License. If you do not qualify for #2 above, Click here for information on obtaining a license from the DNR website (www.fishinglicense.org/minnesota.html). If guests are from an adult day care facility, care facility, or residence, or under the age of 16 or over the age of 90, they DO NOT require a license in MN. Others DO REQUIRE a valid MN license.
