At this time, LGF Fairmont has decided that vaccination for COVID is recommended but not required for volunteers or clients. We will revisit our COVID-19 Protocol and will make appropriate changes for the safety of our clients and volunteers as needed. Registered organizations and individual users will receive an email notifying them that we are ready to start scheduling trips.

The COVID-19 virus pandemic impacted all activities within our state and nation. As you would expect, Let’s Go Fishing activities in Fairmont were affected also but we’re back and looking forward to serving our area with great outings on the Fairmont lakes! The health of our clients and volunteers is our first concern and we hope to see you back for the 2023 season.

As Let’s Go Fishing enters our 15th season in the Fairmont Area, we want to thank our devoted volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donors and clients for our successful season last summer. We are looking forward to another fun, heart-warming season in 2022.

As in the past, there will be opportunities to schedule trips on Hall, Budd and Sisseton Lakes.

Our primary client base includes senior residents of care facilities, those living at home with support services, and individuals living independently, church groups, the disabled, organizations and anyone 55 and older. We also encourage families to book trips that include a senior, veteran or a disabled individual. There is no cost to anyone as long as riders are senior’s 55 and older on board!

Our strong, committed team of trained volunteer captains and first mates offers our guests the best experience possible, whether fishing or simply cruising. We have received many positive comments and notes of appreciation over the years.
